Here is a collection of illustrations that I have made throughout the years. I try to make an effort to showcase harmonious blends of traditional and digital techniques. Each piece reflects my artistic journey, as well as each having different and unique emotions.
Whether a piece is done traditionally or digitally, I want to play with artistic principles such as value, line-weight, texture, and color. Traditional mediums I lean towards include a variety of paints, inks, graphite, charcoal, and the occasional colored pencil. When working with digital programs, I lean towards using textured brushes that give a rough edge to the tool.
Together, these works illustrate my flexibility as an artist, being more than willing to work and respect traditional forms of creativity while also finding ways to incorporate those techniques into my digital pieces.
